Meet & Greet at ReportingMD: Connie Stevens

By Jessica Raymond

Connie Stevens, Healthcare Data Analyst

Describe a typical day at ReportingMD:

“Measures, measures and more measures. Getting them from the client, working with the client, explaining measures to the client. That is basically my everyday life.”

What did you want to be when you grew up?

“It was more of what I wanted to study. My senior year of high school they offered a computer science course but by the time I went to sign up for the class, it was already full. However, when I started at Keene State that fall after graduating, I immediately declared myself a Computer Science major so that I could get into all of the courses and I never looked back.”

What are your hobbies?

“I like to read, roller-skate, home improvement (painting, putting in closets, redoing the bathroom, rewiring throughout the house, etc.).”

What is your favorite movie?

“I’m not sure if I have a favorite exactly, but I was greatly impacted by the film ‘My Holland’s Opus’ with Richard Dreyfuss in 1995. I was in band in high school and in the film, Dreyfuss is a music teacher and wants to create a memorable symphony. I just love the focus on how important music truly is and how he went to all lengths to make his dream come true.”

What is your dream vacation?

“I would love to tour Europe. Definitely England, Ireland, I wouldn’t mind getting up to Scandinavian countries, Norway and Sweden. I would maybe like Spain and Austria as well.”

If you could have dinner with anyone dead/alive, who would it be?

“Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth C. Stanton and basically any of the women suffrages, governors, senators, contraceptive moment, etc.”
