Describe a typical day at ReportingMD:
“I start the day reviewing the marketing calendar and looking over what we are working on on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. I get to take on all marketing challenges, including website development, SEO, email campaigns, press releases, and overall content. I have my daily call with Shaun, our CRO. I am always moving and always working on different challenges.”
What did you want to be when you grew up?
“When I was little, I was very into riding horses. I really wanted to be a jockey, but by the 5th grade, I was already 5’2″ (too tall to be a jockey). I ended up getting mainly into basketball. I also wanted to be a video game designer and a marine biologist. By the time I started at the College of Charleston, I was into public relations and marketing, and decided to major in Communications.”
What are your hobbies?
“I love to read, averaging about a book a week. I cover a wide range of genres, including history and memoirs when it comes to non-fiction and thrillers when it comes to fiction. I love to work out, especially outside: hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and walking my two dogs Mama and Bear. Plus, I practice hot yoga five or six days a week. I also love to cook and travel. Next week, I am off to Denia, Spain for a wedding. Lastly, love sports, especially my Pittsburgh Steelers!
What is your favorite movie?
“My favorite movie is the Big Lebowski, but I do love anything by the Cohen brothers (O Brother Where Art Thou, No Country for Old Men to Fargo, Raising Arizona, etc.). I’m a huge Steve Buscemi fan- I admire his wide range of roles that he is able to take on.”
What is your dream vacation?
“I want to go the country of Georgia. The country as a whole looks so beautiful, from the cities to the countryside. I want to experience the wine, food and history that this country has to offer.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead/alive, who would it be?
“I am a huge Grace Jones fan. I think it is incredible what she has accomplished in her lifetime, being born poor in Jamaica and ultimately becoming an actress, model, and singer. Her autobiography, “I’ll Never Write My Memoirs”, is one of my favorite books to date.”
